Parental decision-making in congenital hand and upper-limb differences: a national survey.

Abstract

Parents of children with congenital hand and upper limb differences must often make decisions about surgery early in life. This national survey identified the main factors influencing parental decision-making, highlighting the importance of trust in the surgeon, second opinions and peer support networks.
