Aim/purpose To reduce Vitamin D deficiency and related health risks among older residents, particularly those from ethnic groups at higher risk

Target group Newham residents aged 65+, particularly those at higher risk of Vitamin D deficiency

Methods used Supplement distribution, outreach via trusted community sites, surveys, training of community partners

Outcomes 16,140 bottles distributed; 34% of users were new to Vitamin D;programme supported broader health conversations and outreach
