44 Nasal reconstruction using Africa temporal scalp flap

Abstract

Introduction/aims: Nasal reconstruction using paramedian or lateral forehead scalping flap is well established. However in situations when forehead scar is not desirable or where normal forehead skin is not available, the novel Africa temporal scalp flap (ATS flap) is a good alternative. ATS flap is based on the superficial temporal artery with retrograde blood flow at the distal half of the flap.
