As dementia advances, it can present with a challenge to those individuals who require aid with feeding. Assessing the efficacy of nasogastric (NG) feeding on improving survival outcomes can be challenging and there is a lack of studies in clinical research. This article aims to highlight the ethical considerations and challenges in NG feeding in patients with dementia.
