Rationale: Various studies in paediatrics, adolescents and adults have demonstrated improvements in constipation, nausea and vomiting, stool consistency and frequency with formulas containing food- derived ingredients1,2,3. This study evaluated the acceptability, gastrointestinal tolerance and compliance of a standard calorie and a high protein tube feed with food derived ingredients.
