P1.13-04 The LuCID Study: Detection of Lung Cancer Breath Biomarkers via Breath Biopsy in a Multi-Centre Trial

Abstract

Introduction: Breath analysis is a promising non-invasive approach for discovering biomarkers that may be able to detect early-stage lung cancer. However, previous studies in this area have had various limitations that have prevented them from being translated to clinical practice. The LuCID (Lung Cancer Indicator Detection) study aims to address these limitations by conducting the largest ever breath biomarker discovery study for lung cancer, using a state-of-the-art breath analysis approach.
