Abstract
Background: Randomised controlled trial evidence suggests LA-I CAB+RPV has similar virological failure (VF) rates to daily oral therapy, but resistance is more common. Integrase inhibitor (INI) resistance is of particular concern and may limit future regimen choices. The optimal regimen post-selection is uncertain. Clinical practice evidence is lacking.
